Not sure what the second hand poles are they are red but have no name or markings on them. They have be great poles.

The Brodex poles are the Hydra ones, clamps don't seem to hold the poles very well they sections just keep spinning. Have tried tightening the clamps. Not very impressed other than the 3 year warranty.

If your poles are not working right phone up Brodex and get them replaced. That's what I do.  ;)

I can get over 12 months from a £14 Harris. I love the way you can just throw them about, unlike my SL2 that I have to handle with kid gloves.

i never throw mine away i strip them down an use them for projects or use bits off them on playing around with prototypes, Ive got a bit of a collection going on, i should sort through them as all ain't knackered just stopped using them i got spares for hybrids even got a 7th base section for a slx collecting dust, a good few modular section inc half section, some prototype carbon tubes, Ive still got my first ever extender pole it got shortened for shop front 9ft three sections, writing this i think i need to have a sort out.

I have had both my poles replaced by brodex already and to be honest the clamps on the new poles were worse than the old ones
