Your most effective flyer

I am about to have a big push on flyers and would be interested to know from those of you who have experimented with different flyers which you thought were most effective.

Up to now I have always used double sided glossy postcards on a small scale, but these are quite expensive so want to try and cut costs a bit.

I use A5 full colour double sided gloss, I got 35,000 flyers for £200 from 1-2 print.
we have had a pretty good response with the flyers this year.

Was that a special offer? I have just looked and that now comes out at £373 on their site.

What sort of response would  you get from flyers in West London.
