It will freeze mate.
along with the transfer pump, if the transfer pump freezes it could mean a new transfer pump.

i will insulate it and box it in!
But to be honest if it freezes i will be using traditional pole!
How would you stop it freezing then?

I would have it in some sort of shed and insulate the shed.
I am moving my static system into the shed in our Susan's back garden tomorrow, also with it being in the shed if need be I can put a radiator in there.

Just don't want you to fork out for the static system then have a giant ice cube in winter mate.

I've got a doblo and 2 tanks in the garage. Doubtful Mate, especially if it's already got the reinforced bars and a mounting pallet on it. Will measure for you tomorrow if you like

I find the polystyrene/cork boards the best for insulation. the wood of the shed will help insulate it too.
I think B&Q or Focus sell insulation you can stick to the roof of the shed as well.

Just don't want you to fork out for the static system then have a giant ice cube in winter mate.

You won't have entire ibc freeze. It's too big.
Maybe a thin layer of ice on top, but nothing more.

It'll be pipes and filters that freeze

Just measured it mate. The opening at the back of my van is 119cm tall and my tank is 115.5cm so it might be a squeeze depending on what pallet/stand yours is on. Width and length ways, no problems even where the wheel arches are. Personally I'd go for it

I have just moved our IBC tank in Susan's back garden, it had to go over a 6ft wall and a 10ft X 8ft shed, it was a nightmare, lifted it onto the shed then slide it along on a temporary rail made from my ladders lol then slow lowered it down the other side of the shed.
