the whole industry is changing for the worse,  commercial jobs are getting cheaper and cheaper as some one will always undercut you

does anyone know who got the new contracts

i think its hard to work out whos getting the jobs but what im finding in over 20 jobs we have is that the commercial jobs main office in and around london and it always seems one company from that area would get the jobs.

its all about saving a penny or two and being wined n dinned....

I few months back I said these was a concerted afford by the bigger companies to get hold of nation company windows contracts and then subbing them out often to the same guys that used to clean them. Most times at far less. I was told by all and sundry its normal business. It might be in some books but not mine. It just a greedy plan to intercept your income. My advice don’t help them by subbing out for this work. Most time they cannot do the work as its not practical. This will bring this nonsense to a holt. The Big eat up the small.
This is nothing more that arm chair and a phone call to get more income.

Gav,
When a Morrisons store I cleaned, went about a month ago to a national, I dropped the price by £15 to hopefully keep it.

I must'nt have been close to their price.

I did it 2 weekly for 27 years and this firm are now doing it weekly for peanuts.
