T&C's full or summary??
« on: September 10, 2005, 06:13:37 pm »
Hi Everyone
I have finally finished putting my terms and conditions down in full, takes about 2.5 pages of A4 (in bullet form so easier to read)
Should I just put the summary of T&C's in the welcome/enquiry pack??
Seems like loads of info. Cover Letter, Customer Details page, Price Guide, Duties Checklists, T&C's,  FAQ.

James suggested putting in health and safety policy, but i would need to put all the above aswell as risk assess, confidentiality report, method statements in with commercial contracts.

The welcome/enquiry pack is based for domestic clients. Should I include it all to be completely professional and organised?

I think it could be a case of too much info, but everything would be there if they wanted to book us. :-\

Hi Lisa
Me thinks that you should package the whole lot together "complete"
You could always highlight the main points to the client as you go through the details with them.....however, with all things written down and in their possession both sides know what is expected from the cleaning.
We clean new homes for developers, and present them with around 80 pages of all the relvant documents in their packs.....
     * Letter of introduction
     * Quotations
     * Cleaning Specs
     * Cleaning Proceedures
     * Work instructions
     * Company Benefits and Insurance docs
     * Health and Safety Docs
     * Coshh etc
     * Risk Assessments

Etc Etc Etc

If the pack is merketed correctly and looks very smart, that could always win you work based on the pack and the hard work put into them. Plus, if they look fantastic.....you can always put your prices up accordingly!!

All the Best

Kind Regards

Tim
