Evening all,

I know this topic comes up time and again but does anyone price based on time i.e what you are looking to achieve per hour?

It would seem from past posts that most price per window and I think someone said they had a points system.

Well I have to say it's very quiet on here tonight. I don't post many questions but I do log on regularly to see what you are all up to and any interesting posts.

It is indeed, generally I only come on here on the evening.  I guess I should maybe post the same question another night.

well, its sort of one in the same really,  windows priced according to size and access that price should equal a time and then you will know if you are on for your hourly rate

someone said on here a pound a minuite on actual work time(not traveling between jobs and breaks etc). i try but dont get near this figure.

That seems a lot to me but I guess it depends where you live.

It was me who said I have a point system; it was in a post a few weeks ago.

I sent an email out to about 25 people who contacted me explaining how it worked and got 2 thank you replies.

I did not expect much, but a simple thanks for bothering is nice.

So to all you guys out there looking for help may I suggest a little gratitude to those who take the time to try and help you.
I for one learned a lesson so it will be a while before I bother passing on any more advice.

Guys it’s ok to just sit in the shadows and take take take. But don’t forget to say thanks once in a while.

 You should aim to earn  15/20 an hour and  be happy..if yr earning more than that... expect the sack from your customer when the next set of spending cuts/recession lands at our feet in October...

That seems a lot to you.
It depends on what houses are worth around your area, how quickly you can clean them and then finally how much do you need or want to earn.
There will always be a few customers who will work out what they think you earn per hour and tell you it's too much.
 It will help you if you don't think like a customer instead work quickly do a good job try and get your work as close together as possible and your hourly rate will be very good.

no coz footballers prob get over pound a second lol. I myself can see a pound a min possible with the right round and top prices.

Going back to my original post, reason I asked is because so many detached/semi/terraced and town houses differ in size and how many windows etc.
