Im happy with the one i've got, all I do is brush my hand across the bristles regularly to remove crap that has collected in the bristles before doing the glass. Some people have an issue with the weight of the brush but I don't find it a problem.

I'm using a Vikan mono sill brush with pencil jets. I did try the sill brush from Bayersan, but after a few months it looks like it has an "afro". ::) ::)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

Only tip I can think of is join a gym and try to build those arms up first. Maybe practice with a brick on the end of your pole.

why because its twice the weight as the superpoope brush that takes twice as long to clean anything with because they are cack?
if you cant lift a pole with a heavier brush on the end you after to be a right whimp!

i threw a superpoope away and can honestly say i will never ever use one again.

ive got a vikan sill brush but its the stiff bristle version and im sure its too harsh for normal windows!its great for conny roofs /fascia cleaning though!

i might get the softer sill brush and give it a go!

i use a supalite flocked and i think its great on maintenance cleans and its better on leaded and wooden georgian windows as the bristles are soft and less chance of damaging wood frames/lead on glass.

i must admit though the supalite mono IMO is rubbish and the ends of the brush are knackered after only 2 weeks of use!

if your using a pole all day with lots of awkward angles to reach over extensions/conny roofs then the extra weight of the vikans can make a difference to the strain on your arms and shoulders.

clee windows you ve not got a full round yet and if you used the sill brush day in /day out 5 days a week im sure you might want something lighter on the end of your pole!!

hows the clx clee?this brodex hydra 25 footer is building my shoulders up but im looking at trying a lighter pole but i need a 25 footer as my main pole.

I noticed sometime ago that opinion seems to vary on what brush to use, so over the last 4 months I have tried the following.

Vikan sill
Superlite duel trim flocked
Superlite single trim
Salmon duel trim

The super lites tend to wear very quick

Vikan is good but a tad on the heavy side

Salmon (which I'm using at the moment seems to get my vote. It lasts longer than S/L's and is lighter than the vikan.

The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)

vikan have a few sill brushes it seems. currently i use 12 inch vikan red standard mono brushes. I see there is a hi lo, 10 inch sill brush plus a stiff brush. I wont be using the stiff brush so i assume the othe r2 similar to my normal 12 inch red standard brush ?

why the different colours on the hi lo? what is the difference between all of these brushes?
