I am waiting for delivery in the morning of a new seal for the lid, rinsed out hoses with water checked tank overnight no leaks also tightened the L bend that goes into the
lid, found a way of tighteneing it more, holding the bit that the hose attaches to, and turning the other end using the L shape of the part as leverage to tighten more, hope that make sense, i could never tighten it that much just by turning the smooth screw end onto the thread, but just holding it and turning the other end is more effective.

changed my mind about using mastic on the lid although i have put some on the wand/ glide, i read the instructions and it did say to seal the top and bottom of glide
