Hi Lisa!

i do have one you could look at but i can't upload it to the pc as its on my laptop which doesn't have connection to internet.......however you could try searching the net for suchlike as that is where i found mine in the first place (many moons ago) and have adapted it to suit

This is only my opinion so please treat it as such.

I have found the members of this forum/group to be extremely helpful and I am personally extremely glad that I happened to find it. I am far from an expert but like to make a contribution when I think it can be of at least some value.

However one thing that tends to irk people is when people show no sign of trying to find things out for themseleves. Most of the people on this forum are trying to run their own business - they are not consultants, they are not getting anything from it, other than "givers gain". There are countless examples of people asking the same questions time after time - how much should I charge, how do I get commercial work etc - There is a search facility, use it.

Google is a marvellous invention, use it.

The high street banks all offer lots of free consultancy and advice to startups to get your banking

Business Link also offers free advice to startups

My impression is that you have jumped in to this business with little or no experience of anything, ie cleaning, running a business and are now relying on this group to hand hold you through your learning curve.

I don't mean to offend, just offering my opinion as I said earlier

If this forum is not here to give people advice and help what is it for?
I have been in this business 20 odd years and still need help and advice and probably always will.
Yes there are banks and Business Link ( who I have used) for advice but it tends to be generic as opposed to specific to our industry.
Everybody needs help from time to time especially when starting out.

Finally if something irks YOU!! maybe you should ignore it .

Information can be found using the search facility and it is obvious that it is not always being used, I must admit reading the same questions over and over can grate but I just tend to ignore them now, especially when I know the answer is elsewhere in the forum.

As for newbies needing help, that is all very well and good but to a certain extent I agree with Mick, do your own leg work also.  Maybe it is the way you are posting Lisa - if you have done everything you can to answer your own question and still need help, let people know in your posts that you are not being lazy as that is how it comes across. 

Invaluable lessons can be learned by making your own decisions and we all need to do that, people are more willing to help those who also help themselves.

hi lisa, i also agree with fox but i have done the very same thing as your good self. now and again i new i was on the right  track but just need to confrim,sometimes it looks like your not looking  to do any of the work yourself, but looking back i did ask questions that were self explanarty and silly, i learnt the best way they never answered lol but sometimes the only person that can help may not be on the forum i try my best now to think before i type.

As for being a poor manager and bad in business~~ mick!

I already run a small retail business which is reasonably successful and growing by the day. Which I have built up from scratch myself.

I have also had training from the business link, partners for business agency, the princes trust charity, and have 2 advisors, one being an accountant.

So by no means am i being lazy or not finding out for myself, I  am working 20 hours a day, and am very busy also.

I have also been in the retail and cleaning industries since leaving school 11 years ago, and my auntie also has her own commercial cleaning business, so I do know what i am doing most of the time

It is just nice to talk to those in the know to make sure i'm on the right track. I know i must sound like a right idiot, but remember when u started up, did u know everything??

I back you all the way, the big boys tend to forget the days of starting up.We all need someone to advise us sometimes.Anyway, I thought this forum was for that very same purposes.

However, I sort  of agree with some comments, because you could come up with something that really puts you at the higher end of the market.We all need to have our secrets!!

Don't let them bother you, ask away, it's your right.We all approach things differently, otherwise the world would be a boring place.

I have seen your website and I think it very good,but pricing i personally think that one-off are priced too cheap, but coming from around the area you service, in know wages stink!!!!!

Have you phoned around other local companies to see what they charge and they way they offer their services? It would be good then to try and put an extra selling point in to hold you above the rest. I mean we hold a few secrets when it comes to quirks, it can work wonders.

That's my advice, but I could be talking a load of rubbish!!!
