Probably a sign that it's starting to wear, it might be time to replace it ........... Afterall you are putting you self in danger evey time you climb that ladder.

hammer a piece of through the two holes thats what we do get a bit more life uot of it tis where it takes most of the strain
yeh but its the bottom one so cant really stretch up to 2nd all day think i will get a new one and drop this one to a smaller size the problem isnt not being able to afford a ladder its needing to use it this week without taking time out to buy and wait for delivery then fitting spikes etc as i need to work long hours through till saturday as my employee has been off sick for 3 weeks and still another 2 to go and i am busiest time of year + going away in 4 weeks and cant fall behind and this is a nightmare if i have to have day off to replace so need quick fix really
you been out working this afternoon sean?its been a total wash out around where i work in cheshire!at least the hosepipe ban wont be in force for much longer at this rate!! FLOODS AND WEATHER WARNINGS HERE!!dazmond
also you could grind the two sides down and that will bring your second rung where your first rung used to be and just stick the rubber feet back in there is always a way
