What would this be worth?
« on: July 17, 2010, 09:33:26 pm »
I have just had an employee leave, and i am finding it difficult to find the right person to employ to cover some of my regular work, same old story hey!! Anyway,  i am now considering selling some of my domestic Cambridge work to concentrate on another part of the country that i have work in. I have had this work between 4 and 5 years and all is WFP.

4wk £1700
6wk £1300
8wk £2450
12wk £700
16wk £400

240 customers in total.
I have all the customers details which includes addresses, landline and mobile numbers, and i also have quite a few customers email addys. I have extra info as well for some customers, ie gate codes, padlock combination's, where key's are left, some do's and don'ts on certain jobs ect ect.
Over and above the external window cleans are regular gutter cleans mostly yearly, conservatory cleans 6 monthly and annually and internal window cleans 3 and 6 monthly. It all flags up on WCP when they are due.

Customers pay by cash or cheque on the day, or if they are not home, either by SAE or internet banking, no collections.

With all the above, somebody could just take my sheets and start earning.

Do you think this is worth more than 4 x's?

Yes. If it's well established etc etc then aim for 10 x monthly, possibly settle for 7 x monthly.

£20,600 on a x5 seems a good deal for you and the buyer...

agree with that, only problem is finding someone with that much cash, might be better breaking down into smaller rounds
