different user names?
« on: July 17, 2010, 04:18:53 pm »
What's goin on on here? The amount of people that chop an change their user names is silly! They get into a argument, tiff or dissagreement an next minute they change their user name and post as someone totally different.

Have you got somethin to hide or are you just embarrassed by some of the crap you post so you don't want to keep your bad reputation as a billy liar or a kick off merchant who wants to take on the whole world but then says that people who receive threats should run to the police?

This place amazes me at times as half of you say you run window cleaning empires but then in another breath you say you use fishin rods to clean

No not just u archer, loads on here do it, especially a certain so called company near me who say they have loads of work to sell an when someone slags them off for just bein canvassers then lo an behold they pop up with another user name but with work for sale in the same area. Mods should clamp down on this

I know what your sayin ian but why should we? When I joined 8 or so months ago it was superb an the advice you would get was brilliant, now what seems to of happened is that people who trolled have been given a slap on the wrist an so they have spat their dummies out an left or where banned. Now as much as the slag it off on other cleanin sites they have rejoined under different names an now they just look for fights an arguments everywhere. What could be a good thread turns into an argument or similar.

Back in the day I joined even the great alex gardiner posted on here but he was ridiculed that much cos he sells high priced equipment that is brilliant that he left. People need to act more professional on here at times an if someone starts slaggin them off or bein an idiot then the mods should have a word.

There are other sections on here for people to go off on one so y not do it there? I'm not sayin let's be serious all the time as I also like a laugh an a joke but come on lads, changing your user name constantly just to spoil things is a bit childish

Ste M , i like what you say , i have been a member for 5 years , and the quality of this site has in my eyes gone down more than you know , it used to be an amazing site , you could post your bit and have your answer in minutes , not saying you cant now , but its just not the same , a lot seem to have a stick up their arse about being the best , and i do believe that information is not shared as much as it used to be , ok its rougher out there due to being more of us , but as i always read , theres more glass out there than you can shake a stick at .
With regards to bickering and slating , its good to have a blow out now and then , i had a to do the other night maybe cos i had a few sherberts and felt clever , i dont know , but i do know that if said person and i should cross threads again , i hold no malice , and we could well agree .
What i do know is that if all members were face to face in an open forum this nasty behaviour in general would not happen , have you seen the size of some of these dudes  ;D
What i would like to see is a little more respect for fellow wc's .
If this does not happen then i think it will only be a matter of time until the plug is pulled on the site .
What would we do then , talk to the wife  ;D

The thing is I don't believe there are MORE wcs out there, I think its still roughly the same, the only difference is more people have access to the web now an this site is one of the first you come across.

Loads of the so called senior members need to grow up an get a life if you ask me, an also if it was an open forum with it bein face to face all you'd see is a load of ar5e kissing if you ask me. Big or small people who come on here need to start to act like business people if they expect to be treated as one.

Look at dazmond, he has a lot of respect on here as he always posts great threads an is very helpful, not cos he is 6ft6 an 19 stone  ;D

.

the great Alex Gardiner posted on here but he was ridiculed
Alex was not ridiculed on here . he used this forum as a tool to sell. which any good businessman with half a brain would. he sold his product we bought it,he would not regret a thing about coming on here. you need to wise up mate.

Wise up? I watched countless times alex offer advice an help with his equipment an countless times the same people moaned about how expensive it was an he was rippin people off. Yes he got advice much the same as everyone does, he did WISE up though an doesn't come on here now
