Just fitted a flow control valve from purefreedom. I am running a 100 psi pump with controller. My remote stopped working so fitted this instead.
Problem is when I turn of on the valve it leaks through all the other connectors. It dosnt seem to matter how tight the fitting is.

Is there an answer?
I am ruuning a 100psi shurflo pump. I was told it would be ok

is your pump shutting down when you close the flow controler???

sound like you need to adjust your controller,  if its an older dial type - open it up and turn the little blue dial down until the pump stops with everything open - then turn back slightly so a when the valve is off the pump stops very quickly.

i had this a while back - made a big difference.

BTW - no luck getting a remote yet ??

Hi Darren, Do you mean literally open it up? Obviously I wired it in but I dont recall seeing any blue dial. By the way it tis the old dial controller

i got a flow control and if the pump isnt stopping then it must be a problem with ur flow control,  to find out connect the pump up to the battery and run it and then stop the flow of water out of the brush by disconnecting the pipe to the pole,  this should stop the pump,   if it doesnt then u might have a problem with ur pressure switch,     what connectors are you using

It worked. I just went to the garage with a pencil torch in my mouth and tried what you said and got it sorted. Its all to do with the blue dial inside.

Cheers, I thought I was gonna have to invest in better connectors or something
