Cost of insurance
« on: September 01, 2005, 09:51:39 am »
Hi, I'm looking to gradually start building up some new business after being out of the game for some years. I've been quoted approx £150 for public liability and about £1200 to be insured for the carpets I'm working on. Obviously I need to be covered but it's a shed load of money. Can anyone recommend an insurance company that they get a good deal from?

Hi,
You should get a much more favourable quote from McGregor Lloyd Ltd, 0121 706 0616. They are also recomended by the NCCA.

HSBC £2 million public liability and £2 million treatment risk (items worked on)

excess on treatment risk is £500 (excess can be less for dearer premium)

My premium £94.10 per annum, payable monthly DD interest free.
