Some window cleaning pictures to brighten the mood. New
« on: June 29, 2010, 12:56:20 pm »
Here are some pics I've made over the last couple of months, just random pictures, some make me laugh.

Here are some classic "how did that happen?" hose tangles (third picture came all the way from back of the house) :

Here was a winter nightmare, roads were all fine, but this road wasn't, I didn't realise it slightly slanted, so I couldn't reverse back up, had to go all the way into the customers driveway, pinch their shovel (they weren't in!) and had to make a runway. It took me 3,5 or 4 hours to get out! I had to launch the van from the front door, over the crest of the driveway, do the turn, and then launch it from the bottom of the road to the top. It took me 8 tries with a lot of shoveling just to get to the end of the drive way, let alone make the runway at the road. It took me about 6 goes on the road to finally inch it forward on the incline, had to drain all the water in the tank as well, take ladders off, and put all my tools in the cab to get more weight on the front wheels! I finally got home, I slept the rest of the day, so tired.

Fun little health and safety unaware part of a house I do, only two of the windows open, I have to crawl to the end and work back with microfibre and spray. There are two of these. Nice when it's windy. I can do it with my superlite and deep reach gooseneck, but takes too long and job result isn't that great due to the angle.  :D

DIY builders, when will they learn. Wind plus expanding foam is disaster. I said, I can try and get it off but it will take me a long time and will cost. They did it themselves with scraper, terrible scratches. This is a £2million house but too skint to pay to get it done properly, so they got this jack of all trades guy to do the building work.

People with dogs, now and then, please vacuum clean under and behind the sofa, this way you don't get a hairy whatchamacallit.

Customer fence down after those strong winds earlier this year. Had to crawl under it with pole to reach the back. Made a little note on receipt asking for hazard pay (with just kidding behind it) :)
