the 1st guy has the solution hose on the grass, guessing it doesn't produce much heat then, i learnt my lesson on the first clean, phone call from custy, "really happy with the clean but theres a line of dead grass going right across my garden"   :-[ :-[ :-[

A lot to take into consideration.
The van, 52 plate, 160k+ miles - what condition and worth is it - is that size van what you really want ie access etc.
The 2 units, what spec are they ie engine, pump, bl;ower, and their condition. What about service and spares. Chemspec are in Bradfor/Leeds - do they still support the unit? Linmar engine - never heard of them so dont know what they are like and replacement bits for them.
Mike may be able to fill in on the specs more.
With 2 units you will need a place to keep the spare - would that be a problem?

For £1k more then the start price you could be onto a new Prowler, but you still need a van, albeit not as big as that Merc.

I have used a Hydrofoil truckmount in the past, they are a pretty good machine even though they do look abit prehistoric  ;D.  The engines on these units are very robust and in my opinion better than the B&S engines. Look at what the guy is actually selling......

1 Mercedes 311 CDI van
1 Hydrofoil truckmount in working order
1 Hydrofoil truckmount that needs just a water pump repair / replacement
2 waste tanks
2 fresh water tanks
2 hose reels
1 carpet wand
300 feet of solution hose
600 feet of vacuum hose

Here is what i think all that is worth on a minimum basis;

Van £1300
Working truckmount with waste tank £1200
Other truckmount with waste tank £800
2 fresh water tanks £400
2 hose reels £280
1 carpet wand £50
300 feet solution hose £150
600 feet vac hose £360

TOTAL £4540

Here is what i think all that is worth on a maximum basis;

Van £2000
Working truckmount with waste tank £1500
Other truckmount with waste tank £900
2 fresh water tanks £600
2 hose reels £320
1 carpet wand £150
300 feet solution hose £210
600 feet vac hose £540

TOTAL £6220
