extracta scrubba deluxe
« on: June 10, 2010, 04:35:23 pm »
Being deliverd on monday, just hope I've made the right call, never been able to decide between this and the rotovac, but went with extracta, have heard good and bad reports about both and extracta is cheaper so fingers crossed.

As long as you don't over do it with the psi, (100psi's more than enough) I don't think you'll be disappointed at all....

It is slower than using a wand, but it does an amazing job and it'll wow your customers :)

Cheers for that Colin, I only have a 135 psi Alltec advance so won't need turning down to much, it's not often I've turned it down.

Hi,
How are you getting on with the scrubba, what chemicals do you use with it? Thinking of getting one myself,

                                                                                                                                                         regards Ethan

Ethan, it's fantastic, but not done any trashed carpets yet, but have had great results with less workjust using solutions and water rinse, clients are well impressed and is also more affordable than the alternatives I've looked at, really wanted a Rotovac, but they are very expensive.
It brings traffic lanes up like new with one pass, so a good buy I think.

I love it, I use it from the van which cuts down on time and the extra weight isn't an issue.

Hi, I have a scrubba deluxe and a Rotovac 360i. IMO the Rotovac out guns the deluxe everytime. Don't use it on every job though, only large areas or badly soiled carpets - cuts through the dirt/grease like cake!! You've still got to finish the edges with hand tool....

The Scrubba deluxe is a cracking tool, just a bit heavy for all day use.

If anyones interested I've got two scrubbas and two extracta exels sat in the workshop doing nothing and another scrubba that's got a broken handle.

I'm going to have a big clear out in July before we move into our new unit and these are just a couple of the items that I've identified so far as "not making the move"  :'(

I have a couple of them kicking around. A mini and a Deluxe. Sat there doing nothing. Maybe willing to part with them. Well used but work a treat. The mini is the one for Domestic. Much more manoeuvrable. I am in Cornwall though. Boy are they good used with a porty. When I got the TM I thought they were the two things I would never get rid of. Two years later and the haven't moved once so maybe someone else should get the benefit.
