hi all, I want to start a cleaning company (offices mainly, not domestic) can i do this without a bics qualification?

Yes you can and most companies do.

Their training is supposed to be pretty good. Beyond that their membership means nothing IMO.

Hi Georgy,

BICS is not required to open a cleaning company and there are only a handful of companies out there that will insist in BICS trained cleaners entering their premises.

BICS is like most governing bodies, looks good to be a member, but not necessary.
