flocked has split bits at the end, and hold on to more dirty so need cleaning after each house,  non flocked are better for first cleans

deal trim,  means that the bits in the middle are shorter than the out side

I've used a variety of different brushes and they all clean windows; though some guys prefer some to others and may give anecdotal reasons for doing so.

Personally I like a lightweight brush.

A cheap brush is just as good as an expensive brush IMO when it comes to actually cleaning the window. Shape is perhaps more important, square is best , again IMO. light weight is desirable because you spend all day waving it around. Espescially if like Tosh you are getting a bit past it now.

I personally don't like flocked brushes and my next brush I fancy trying something a bit radical more by way of an experiment than anything else.
