I'm sure that some people must do ok with them but I never received any work. I had a look a couple of jobs & put a sensible figure in. When I heard what they expected them to be cleaned for I felt that they were hugely underpriced. Either their rake off was a lot or they were underpriced by the previous firm.

Most forms of advertising I've used has normally paid for itself but with them it was a large-ish fee with no return.

Not surprisingly I didn't renew.

Having said that it might work for you!

From memory I think it works like this....

They sell it on the basis that you could market yourself as a national operation or accept an invitation to price a national contract. You do the work you want & they will find others to do the rest - obviously for a fee. Basically though you hand it over to them & they pay you an annual retainer all the time they have the contract.

Conversely, they might pass on an enquiry to you (& others) to be priced up. They themselves may be in competition as well. Several people may be taking a rake off then so the person at the bottom that actually does the work might be squeezed on price.

That's to the best of my knowledge - but as I say it might work for you. It could be good 'bread & butter' work albeit at much lower rates.
