Fumigating anybody done it?
« on: August 24, 2005, 12:22:54 pm »
Hi has anybody had the joy of fumigating a property, been asked to do this to a property which is absoultly flea ridden, the tenants have been kicked out and we have to clear the whole house rip up all carpets and fumigate the whole house,we have never touched these before but they have basically told us to do it and charge what we want.So my question is whats the best way and what would you charge, o and by the way its a 2 bed house and i think it will take 4 cleaners around a day.

Im thinkin of not doin it for much less than £2000,but that maybe to much, what do you think.

Cheers
Daniel

There must be specialist companies and chemicals but I haven't a clue where you'd get them without spending a fortune. However, if the worst comes to the worst and you get stuck, your local pet store will sell can foggers ( or some of them you light ), buy a few of them and get out the house for a few hours. They cost about £7-10 each and although they are marketed to kill fleas they kill everything including flies, spiders, woodlouse and any other creepy crawley hanging around.

If you do take that route you'll be in for a hell of a profit.

Try the copex maxi smoke generators www. industrialpesticides.co.uk

Charge top dollar and ventilate and vacume properly and your laughing.
