I use a plastic milk carton, chop the bottom off and scoop the resin and tap it out of the top. Acts as a scoop and funnel at the same time.

i pour it in to a bucket and fill with water the pour it in to the vessel,  have found this the easiest and quickest way

 so guys sorry to seem a bit thick but how much resin do you need to put in the cylinder ?

do you fill it to the top or just half way like in the video

I fill mine just about to the top but with the centre thingy in  place only change it once  and am know wondering if i have done it right  ?

I did mine today mines an 11ltr cylinder so I weighed the bag then did some calculations so I put 11ltrs in, It was about 3/4 full I guess when I finished, couldn't find my funnel so I used an empty cereal box cut a hole in the bottom the put some tape round it tight enough to round the box off then scooped the resin into it worked a treat going to keep my eye out for a rain water hopper for next time though.

Centre thing was out, I weighed because I had a blonde moment should have just used a 2 ltr jug

I bought a 5lt bottle of water from Asda.  Big and square and when upside down sits steadily on the resin bottle.  I just cut the bottom of the bottle out and poured the resin in.  Acts just like a large funnel.
