Anyone got a good, obviously leaflet/card, I could take a look at. going to try and move away from the pink leaflet, and try a more upmarket card design, but struggling to find the right wording.

Sit down where you won't be disturbed with a pencil and a few sheets of paper.

Jot down why you should clean their carpets and why they should ring you.

Keep writing for as long as you can- just notes.

Put the paper away till the next day and find your quiet spot again.

List in order the best reasons.

Put the best 5 on your leaflet.

Keep it simple. don't tell them too much and NEVER prices. You are competing on quality, which you will win, and not prices.

Your name is not as important as the number so make sure the no. is bigger.

Don't go into detail about your methods - if you are eco friendly just say that. Don't pinch stuff from other people.

If you are not sure of the spelling use a dictionary- you are aiming at the posher end of the street.

Set it out on your computer, probably A5 size, until you are happy with it and print a few. Ask people you know what they think of it.

Reset it and print a few more.

When you are happy get them printed.

God must love stupid people---He made so many.

Gary, you've just been given some excellent advice from an obviously very intelligent person. If I were you I would ask him to do the leaflet design for you. Best of luck, Mike

I am finding people have lost confidence in flyers with spiel and typical carpet cleaners special offers. A simple but quality looking postcard with a simple discount has worked best recently.
