Its nice to see Dave Ingram back in the Midlands. It's a shame I sold my truckmount last week, with someone so good on the doorstep to maintain it. I'm sure all you truckmounters in the Midlands will use Dave to look after your equipment. Welcome back Dave

Hi Derek, I have decided to call it a day. I may do a bit of part time in the future but there just isnt enough business out there to warrent doing it full time. My business went bump this year and left me in a bit of a mess financially but I will claw my way back. I am going back to what I know best and starting a new business delivering milk 7 days a week. www.scdairies.co.uk

I'm really sorry to hear that Phil, I thought you had a sound business, especially as you started GB Office cleaning services recently.

All the best for the future mate.

Thanks for the kind words. I am not alone when it comes to being badly bitten by this recession and I wish you all the very best. Hopefully business will start returning to normal soon. If I can give one piece of advice to anybody going into the carpet cleaning business it would be "dont spend it until you've earned it" It's very easy to just keep buying everything you see.

I dont think Dave runs maintenance as a business but he is very knowledgeable and I dont think he will mind if I give you his number so you can give him a ring.

Excellent words of wisdom from old man Gribble, suppliers expect us to buy blind and that's why we end up with loads in the garage!!!!!
