« on: August 15, 2005, 12:21:01 pm »
hi, u can get the ninjas doing steam ian, i hav one with two built in heaters and it will do over 100ft of hose with ease  u get lot more for u money with the ninja in my opion , and it all runs of two leads weres the eclipse u hav to plug in two leads then carry in a heater plug it in then connect to line  what a pain , just my opion also vac power on ninja is about 230 water lift weres a eclipse is i think about 240 so not lot diff  and ninjas are cheaper

popped in to Ashbys Hq last week and saw a proto vac that hooks up to the ninja - giving super vac power better than a truck mount  :)
I had a go - wow , I was told that no one makes anything that comes close to this vac power , can't wait to see the finished thing .

Is it another inferior imitation of Ed Valantine's booster box or is it a completely different concept entirely.

I thought you could always hitch a ninjato another machine.

or is this just an extra vac in a box.

Someone once suggested to me that you could mount a vac in a tool box and then  link vac motors.

Extra wires etc.

Many THANKS to Finton for recognizing the fact that just another "clone" is evolving from behind the bushes.

However, I have always kept in mind that whenever one clones a product they never know or understand the "Why's" or "Why Nots" of the designs. And, they always let their customers do the field testing.

My advice to anyone is to seriously consider the purchase of a particular product from the "Originator" than from a "Duplicator", because the originator has it perfected. For example, we had developed/designed/engineered the POWER BOOSTER System in 1978 with alot of years of perfection since that time.

Thanks again;

Ed,

Don't be so shy and retiring  ;), who distributes your vac box in the U.K ?

I can't seem to find it on the Amtech web site.

Cheers,

Doug

Although Ed should reply I thought it was AM ? in Watford who distribute his product.

Have not heard much about it since The Eclipse came on the Scene.

what I've found in most cases is the  " Duplicater " makes a better probuct as they learnt by the mistakes that the "  Originator" made - and selll it on to us for a cheaper price  :P
keep up the good work Ashbys  :-*

I was making vac boosters years ago. 2 x 3 stage vacs mounted in a ventilated tool box, I made a false lid for my cheyanne and plumbed the extra vacs into it.

gave the suction of a small black hole ;)
