is a trolley system not just a modern day equivalent of ye olde hand cart? ;D ;D

if i was you i would get work with a local windy and save up for a cheap car/van to start off with.

you could always canvass some streets near you and walk round with the ladders to clean them on the days your not working for another windy.thats what i did.

you cannot build a proper business without transport.
price higher/work harder!

Theres a warehouse that the public can shop from.  Its called JTF. I was in there on Friday, and they had green ones in there with chunky wheels for £49.99p.

I cannot help you with your questions but in Amsterdam many window cleaners use hand carts to get their ladders around....a very sensible method for a particular need.

Good luck
Dave.
