Picked up a job last week.  My local Barber shop.  Not paying me cash, but have agreed I do his Shop front windows once a month in return for a free haircut once a month.

I guess that one would not need to go though the tax man would it?

Years ago I used to do the windows for the local parks superintendent.  He was a 'huntin' shootin' fishin' type and would sometimes take me with him shooting rabbits, hares and pigeons.

His payment for me cleaning his windows (second floor flat) was 4 pigeons or two rabbits or one hare.

I have one customer who is a fisherman, He catches trout mainly, prepares and smokes them himself and always gives me a couple.
Another Customer is a car valeter, he works from an old car dealership, we clean the windows and every 6 months I get my car and 1 van professionaly valeted as payment.
