« on: May 15, 2010, 02:29:34 pm »
I had a guy in Camden who got a parking ticket, Are window cleaners exempted up there or does anyone have a good excuse to use to get it cancelled?

nobody is exempt unless you pay for work permits or suspensions.

Yes you can get them for just one day, at the Hove town hall one day tickets are available so i would imagine its the same in London, ring the town hall near Camden and they will tell you.  ;D ;D

In general in London there are no exceptions to the parking regulations. The old jokes about ticketing a hearse outside a church really do happen. You might be able to get a permit from the council but I have never heard of it for window cleaning. Thats why the window cleaners are out at 4 in the morning.

You never know till you try.
