MY CUSTOMER HAS A RUST STAIN, WHICH HAS BEEN DOWN FOR 8 MONTHS, IT WAS FROM A CHRISTMAS TREE WHICH THE CUSTY HAD WATERED WITH A COPPER DISH TO COLLECT WATER, WHEN SHE REMOVED IT TRAILED THE RUSTY WATER ACROSS THE SITTING ROOM. SURPRISE A CREAM CARPET, USED PROCHEM RUST REMOVER. YOUR HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED.

copper does'nt rust, it might be something else, more likely just diluted dirt from the soil.

Could be the oxidised metal from the copper.
If it dont clean out, try Prochem rust remover or other make.
