First clean at a customer's today.

They warned me that I wouldn't be able to get their patio doors clean; they were covered with what look like water drop drying marks.  They were right.

Any ideas what I could use to fix them?

got to a supermarket and buy a spray limescale remover like viakal spray it on wipe it all over with a rag wash off they will all be gone.

Yep I agree with the above....spray on limescale remover, give it a scrub over with your mop and rinse off (or blade off if youre trad)

get some grade 0wire wool /  scouring pads, they get the water marks off and DONT scratch the window as they are not as harsh as other ones, make sure you soap up window first and use a bit of elbow grease, its the best thing ive found to use!!

if it is that thick u can feel it  it should scraper off,    try hot soad water and then scraper off

That'll shift the spots ................ but you won't be able to see through the scratches.

No mate brillo pads have 0000 steel wool and are already soaped up

I stand corrected, I thought they were coarser than that. :

Only if you scrub hard on the surface, the way to use them is gentle rubbing in one direction, i have even used them to clean upvc window frames you only have to give a gentle rub!

ps. if you dont want to go the brillo pad route you can always do the water and vinegar mix always works as well!

have they had any work done to the house, ive had it before where they have had new render treated and nothing will shift
the spots ont the window, scraper, viakal, scrubbing, solvent wont touch it.
