A friend i met on alltec's complete carpet care course suggested looking at this site as i am just starting up, unfortunately i got a cheap deal on what i thought was a proffesional machine before attending the course. 900 quid for a truvox president, its very bulky and i am not too confident about its water lifting capacity, never mind at least i know how to use it correctly i.e methods in hwe thanks to the excellent course.

p.s has anyone used this machine before, and did they purchase any external heating for it.

best regards
mat :D

Hi Mat,

Welcome to the forum.

I've never used one of these but had a quick look at the spec and it seems reasonable.

I am a great believer in heat assisting cleaning and an in -line heater will give you better results than just relying on the temp which comes out of the wand.

All portable machines are bulky and if you go for a more powerful machine it will be bulkier still.

However if that picture is of you the i can't see too many problems there ;)

You've embarked on a steep learning curve but have made the right first move by getting some training.

Cheers,

Doug

Hi , Matt,

Regretably one of the features of all Forums is I have a bigger better than you.

At the end of the day it is you the Cleaner who does the job not the machine.

Learn how to Market learn how to clean and then consider other options.

Do not let negative thoughts about your equipment hinder you, it will if you let it.

Good Luck

Ian

i like your thinking john, not sure if i can get hold of a t-shirt big enough may have to tatoo my logo across his chest lol, and he can be my debt collector. p.s money's a bit tight at the moment i need a sprayer for my pre-sprays does anyone know where i can get a reasonable one or even a second hand one, also are the hand pump sprayers rubbish compared to the motorised ones.

best regards
mat
