Radio is for corporate branding, in other words hammering a recognised name and place to visit for deals ect. Not for a one man carpet cleaning band. :

It plays on the subconscious mind and not the reactive mind. I will give you an example, you are driving along and you hear "Warburtons bread, the quality choice" then you hear "Frank Smiths quality carpet cleaning call now for a free quote 0800 12345678".
You hear them both but subconsciously your mind does not recognise Frank Smiths carpet cleaning so forgets it almost immediately. On the other hand Warburtons has been recognised by you subconscious mind and logged without you knowing about it. You then drive passed a truck with the name Warbertons on the side again you log this.
Next time you shop the Warbertons brand becomes more recognisable than other brands, you won’t understand why it just does. This is due to heavy corporate branding.
