My trolley is in the for sale section save your self over £400 then you can spend it on marketing which is the hardest part.  :)

Why is it for sale? Is it because you have had enough of lugging it about and have got yourself a van mount by any chance??  ;)

I rarely post on here much anymore, but i disagree with most of what's been put on this post. Someone once said to me to "buy the best that you can afford". i didn't and ended up buyin lots of cheap poles, trolleys etc etc. I think Daz is going the right thing(not so sure about the resin, unless he hasn't got a static) I binned my freedom trolley a couple of years ago....Wish i hadn't now. I'm van mount and back pack, but i do miss the trolley. It's a great toy to begin with. If i ever get another one, i will buy a ramp for the van though. It's an individual thing. you know your round better than anyone else. Only YOU know what's best. I know Daz has thought long and hard about his decisions and i'm sure he's doing the right thing. Good luck fella. You'll be fine ;-)

Please don't listen to this Daz... he's winding you up!!!!! A diy van mount will actually be cheaper than the trolley, it will save you a lot of aggro lugging about water in barrels etc, you will be able to get a lot more work done and earn more money... it really is a no brainer mate!!! As I said when I first went wfp I got a trolley and actually went back to trad after a couple of months because it is quicker and easier than messing about with a trolley!!!   :)
Sorry Groundhog.......I ainit winding him up and i totally disagree with ya. If ya work in a busy road with cars parked everywhere, then a van mount is not fit for purpose. It's a joke with hose getting caught on car tyre's posts etc. Like i said and it should be acknowledged............your chosen setup is a personal thing. Only you know what's best.x

I'm with Groundhog.  Trolleys are naff.  The Freedom trolley, even before you added water was a heavy ruddy thing to cart about.

Van mount plus backpack will see you alright.  Failing that start with a back pack and add a van mount later when you can.

Trolleys are a waste of money, IMHO.

If I was going to buy a trolley I'd go for the Omnipole one, www.omnipole.com/omnitrolley.htm as for the 20ft pole I use a 24ft fibre glass and it only just reaches some of my 2nd floor work and I struggle reaching over some conservatories. the 25ft Brodex hydra may be a better option and then knock up a Harris pole for ground and first floor.

no way trolleys are way better than vanmounts as you have best of both worlds. I use my freedom trolley as a van mound also its handy for awkward parking and access issues as would a backpack. Daz go for the 25 litre trolley. I have both and never even take the 50 one out.

This just about sums it up for me, you can't go wrong with a van mount.. and if you really have to then get a back pack for the odd job where it is awkward to get to with the hose, a trolley is a complete waste of money... most people who buy them end up using them as van mounts anyway, so you may as well get a proper van mount in the first place. Nuff said  ;)

Later I'll post some pics of what you need & the cost for a 400ltr van mount. It's easier & cheaper than you may think.

I happen to agree that you'll be better of with a van mount. ;)

Trollies can be handy & do have their place but IMO not as your main, day in day out system.
