He'll have a very bloody Happy Christmas if he pulls it off. Someone will probably and up divorced, homeless, broke and bordering suicide. But who cares. Scumbag's minted.

the guy has 80 custys that bring in £1000 a clean

12.50 a house on average doing 2-3 bed houses

sorry but in my book that is easy worth 10 x

otherwise what is??

Its about 2 days work at the most for a guy wfp or with helper could take about a day!

If he can get 10k for it then good luck to him. It's only worth what someones willing to pay for it and if no one bites his hand off then he'll find out that it's not worth the money he thinks it's worth.

Personaly I think it depends on how well established and how compact a round is, whether it's worth paying decent money for. If someone was selling 2k per month that they had been cleaning for about 10 years all compact and well priced then I would pay upto x10 for it(if I had that kind of money) because in less than 1 year you are in profit and hopefully adding to it. If it's all done properly with a proper hand over and explination to the custies then I would imagine the vast majority will stick with the new guy.

I did ask what part of Surrey the work was in.  I wouldn't have paid what he was asking but bear in mind that is his opening gambit.  It's all open to negotiation.  Certainly wouldn't have parted with any money before seeing at least part of what's on offer and obtaining confirmation from some customers.
It's irrelevant for me anyway as it's the wrong part of Surrey.

There's a world of difference between £1k worth of established proven work and £1k worth of newly canvassed work from a canvasser.

The new work will rapidly dwindle by at least 25% and a lot of the remainder will be anything but "cream"

My buyers bought my businesses because I could prove they were established, regularly worked and actually produced the money I said they would in the time I said it would take.

They each went out and started turning over £500 per week from day 1.

If you'd just been made redundant from your £15k job, and you got the chance to spend your redundancy money on a new job guaranteeing £24k would you say "Nah, it's not worth it'?
