You fallen into the trap set by those that suggest if you have a Scorpion then you MUST be cleaning carpets with cold water as the Scorp does not have an heater.
There a more then a few portables that are not supplied with a heater - so the Scorpion is not an exception.
And has been said many times you just plug an inline heater and away you go.
Ever seen the adverts where people are wanting, or selling inline heaters - Ashbys and Prochem heaters spring to mind.
Dont forget the Scorpion is capable of cleaning carpets 150' away, so an inline heater can be plumbed into the solution line say in the last 25' so the heat is where you want it - at the wand. Works out to be an advantage at times, not having an onboard heater.

Hi Alan
I inherited my inline heater with the Scorpion which I got off Spencer Davis.
I believe it is a Mytee heater. It has 2 chambers so you can have half heat or full heat.
I would imagine Spencer bought it with the machine from Solutions.
You could check with them what they do now.
Some reports of heaters on the market are a bit frightening - failing often and costing more then a few bob to get sorted.

Got the TM yet?
Be interesting to hear your views on it.

Hi Joe i havent got the truckmount yet just waiting on the call from Mark to say the Lincolns Package is sorted and we are on for the transaction.Should be within a week though.I dont have a suitable porty for inacessible jobs i do(usually oxford based)so was working out whether keeping my mates old 1000psi cfr(no heat)was worth it or should i sell it and use a ninja or sabrina maxi size machine.Everyone i seem to talk to who has a truckmount says you will want to use it all the time some even turning down jobs if they have to use their portys. The problem i have is Oxford can be a bit of a mare for pricing over the phone and trying to work out if you could get a van even on the right side of the road to do a job let alone close enough to the property.Dilemas dilemas.Regards Alan

Re the TM - you will want to use it all the time but "we" have different circumstances.
One guy says he would love to have a TM but the van required would be too bug for some of the lanes he has to go down to get to some really big houses - and he aint gonna give them up.
Warrington has more then a few town centre flats where parking and access is a problem - so I use the Scorpion a lot in those situations. Some I could get hoses up the putside but dont like th hoe run vertical when I work by myself (H&S) but some are ok with that - personal thing.

These in line heaters though are not cheap, about £400+vat, thats why the reports of failures and hte cost to fix frightens me.
