on the PQQs we are asked if we use iso accredited companies if we tick no we reduce the chances of being success but increase the likelyhood of problems on the job.its not a requirement but its more professional

they said all the requirements are that you meet the standard. You need a job to show what procedures you have. You can become accredited off one job which we will make up actually ukicm advised us to manufacture a job then they get you upto the stadard required to get the certificate

Make the job up the show what procedures you think you would have used then they work with you at no extra costs

thats how they operate and as long as they help us gain the certificate and operate professionally and they audit us every year then ive got no problem - you need to show procedures for them to improve upon so thats how i see it.
There job really is to get you to the standard so if your completly rubbish they will get you to that standard so effectively unless we get to that standard we cant operate on the contracts we are looking at.

You can look at it as a training course to get you to the highest professional standard

If we dont reach the standard we wont get the certificate
If anyone tries to get it if they arent good enough same applies
