You'll get bored Shaun. Too early for the pipe and slippers. :)

I think I'm curious about it more than anything else can't see the point of loading sheffield with my websites 2 is enough, just wondering more than anything what the No1 search term was either carpet cleaners ---- or carpet cleaning ----- or carpet cleaners ----- etc etc

Perhaps Jim may give us more information.

Shaun

Shaun,
I have already told you that you can not improve your website positioning more than you have.  The problem is a lack of google searches on Sheffield terms.   In short, not enough Sheffield punters looking for cleaning services.
This is not confined to Sheffield. Most City/Town specific searches draw the same poor search results for cleaning.
However, if you are interested, carpetcleansheffield - is available as a .com & .co.uk.
carpetcleanersheffield - is also available .com & .co.uk

Clinton:   I use godaddy.com for .com domain registration  ( costs about £6.50 for 1 year ).
For .co.uk domains I use - 123-reg.co.uk ( £5.98 for 2 years )

I also use godaddy.com for hosting, however, I have heard good reports on hostgator.com

I would also stress that website promotion is just a part of your marketing efforts, do not lose focus on the other avenues in the search for the SEO "Holy Grail".  SEO needs genuine interest in what you are providing to be successful.

Hope this helps.

Jim
