emporiums new backpack trolley
« on: January 23, 2008, 02:45:40 pm »
guys....went to alan at hamilton recently......very impressed by the setup he has.

in particular i am over the moon with the new trolley he sells for use with backpacks......i bought one today and honestly recommend all you guys usings trolleys out there to get one of alans....it folds down so you can put it in a small boot and still have loads of room for other equipment and your weekly shopping. :)...ok so it folds down i hear you say.......not that unique?........well yeah it is unique coz other trolleys that fold down are flimsey compared to alans...it wont fall apart and it is sturdy enough to take the usual knocks during the working day.......however alans trolley really comes into its own when in use on the job.....it has a large enough base to carry two backpacks or a backpack and a large di unit or a combination of di, backpack and water carrier due to the extendable wings on the baseplate.......so in conclusion i  would have no problem passing on my recommendation for this trolley and at only 35 pounds inc vat its a bargain.

Scriman,

You wouldn't have anything to do with the company 'Emporium', would you?

It's just that you're new here and your first few posts are bigging them up.  We've seen this done before, and it always makes me feel like it's a supplier taking the mick out of us.

So, if you have anything to do with emporium, delete your account here and return with a new one; and be honest about who you are and tell us a bit about yourself.  The rules for suppliers are that they're welcome to post here, but they've got to contribute positively to posts asking for advice and not go OTT with what they're supplying.  It can be a fine line to tread; 'cos if you get it wrong, it gets posted here.

If I'm incorrect about you, you have my apologies, but I've seen this quite a few times before.

I'm not a mod (anymore), but I do like this forum, so shall be keeping one of my THREE Japs eyes on you (I'm not saying which one it is though)! ;D

is that you MR H?.......all you ever did on the window-tools forums was delete my posts......now you change your name just coz u got booted and you having your revenge by having a wee dig at me lol ::)

only kidding.......i know where u coming from......but i aint a supplier.....dont touch the stuff, personally....but there are a lot of users out there..... ::)

alan aint giving me anything......although i told him i would big him up in the forum.....the other forums that is......you can check me out by going to the other side......same profile and everything.......and some say you can learn from wot i say......but admittedly most dont.......so i end up coming on a newish forum(to me).....and trying to convert the old timers to a new way of getting their message across...which is to be as helpful as a chocolate tea-pot

hope that helps....i know it didnt...but what you cant see is what you dont get ::)

now that i have found this place i may continue to post my usual drivel on here unless the moderators chuck me out......anyone wanna contact the mods and take a vote? ::)

 ;D

ok...now turn right at the next set of lights......go into the shop called neckst.....after you have bought the shirt marked down from 20 quid then come back into the street and shout out " look wot i got for a fiver from neckst"...this is to check you aint being followed.....but if someone says to you " ah the cat is out of the bag" then he is a secret agent and you must run as fast as you can back to mfi and replace the cupboard in ailse 16 with a pair of your drawers.
