John,
You baffle me.
Firstly you bought a 3500 psi Pressure washer with 20" flat surface cleaner, never use it then put it up for sale.
Now you've gone and bought a Prowler, not the easy route getting it from JK, but imported it all the way from America, you've gone to all the trouble of getting it across here, serviced and fully kitted out with a really nice set up. OK you bought it blind and have no idea of it's history, but you can't have had it a full week yet and now you've got that up for sale as well!!! How many jobs have you done with it since you got it, it can't be that many.
Yes, it's a totally different concept to your Extracta, but once you get used to it you'll never go back to using a portable as your main machine again. We have close to doubled our turnover on carpets since using a TM machine and all the lads love it, as do all our customers.
I had to use the Exel for a job today in a secure building and the pressure and suction were nothing compared to the power of the Prowler and it took us probably 3 times as long.
I would strongly recommend you persevere with it for a while longer, get someone to go out with you for a day or two to show you how to use it properly, you will find it easier and quicker than your Extracta. The 2" hoses are the hardest thing to get used to, but they do soften over time and get easier to roll up.
If you want to have a chat about it feel free to give me a call.
