I'd be interested but after all the trouble you had and that thread with JK I can't help but feel you are trying to get shot of a bag of nails.

Prove me wrong and how much. :).

John,

You baffle me.

Firstly you bought a 3500 psi Pressure washer with 20" flat surface cleaner, never use it then put it up for sale.

Now you've gone and bought a Prowler, not the easy route getting it from JK, but imported it all the way from America, you've gone to all the trouble of getting it across here, serviced and fully kitted out with a really nice set up.  OK you bought it blind and have no idea of it's history, but you can't have had it a full week yet and now you've got that up for sale as well!!!  How many jobs have you done with it since you got it, it can't be that many.

Yes, it's a totally different concept to your Extracta, but once you get used to it you'll never go back to using a portable as your main machine again.  We have close to doubled our turnover on carpets since using a TM machine and all the lads love it, as do all our customers.

I had to use the Exel for a job today in a secure building and the pressure and suction were nothing compared to the power of the Prowler and it took us probably 3 times as long.

I would strongly recommend you persevere with it for a while longer, get someone to go out with you for a day or two to show you how to use it properly, you will find it easier and quicker than your Extracta.  The 2" hoses are the hardest thing to get used to, but they do soften over time and get easier to roll up.

If you want to have a chat about it feel free to give me a call.

Ian

John, don't do something you'll regret even though you may not realise it. Moving up from an electric portable to a petrol machine is a bigger step than most people realise. It does take a good few weeks to get the hang of using them and the associated hose management, however once you crack it you would find how much easier it makes the job of cleaning carpets.
I'm only too willing to come out for a day with you and show you the ropes.

John took a risk importing a machine from the states which he hadn't seen. However it has had a full service from ourselves and is in very good condition.

Obviously no one knows John's circumstances why he is getting rid of the machine apart from major cash flow problem. It is strange after getting new van and other equipment that a couple months later most of it for sale, don't think anything wrong with equipment just overstretched himself

I'll give you £2500 for a quick sale ;)

Steve if you can stretch it to £3000 you have yourself a deal. £2500 means Ill be loosing money. £3000 means I break even and it is in really good condition...just ask JK who serviced it for me.

Ok thanks James I appreciate that...I think everyone knows it is more than worth what I am asking. I would appreciate any kind soul bidding to help me out sob sob!

For some reason I get the feeling people think there is something wrong with it hence the quick sale. Well I would never sell anyone a white elephant especially anyone on this forum. Again I stress it was looked at thoroughly by JK at Restormate who serviced it not more than 2 weeks ago.

Cheers lads
John.

Hi Clinton
If you make a bid you may win it. Its got to be worth a bid? That way at least you will have a chance, but no chance if you dont  :-\
