I don't think there is much excitement involved.

We went up to the top floor and then my mate climbed out of the window, stood on the sill and closed the window after him

He cleaned the outside using a swab and squeegee, then opened the window and climbed back in and did the inside.

Then he said to me:  "You do the next one"

You ever tried this? ;D

Call that exciting?

When I was in outdoor advertising (not long packed up after 30 years) I would run a triple 18 foot ladder from the street up to a three plank staging on the side of a cinema, climb up it carrying the bills and paste bucket. Then proceed to set up a ladder on the staging that was left up there in all weathers (nice and rickety) to post a twenty foot by ten poster.

No H&S then .  :-X

It was always windy up there.
Cheers,
Neil
