i just go with if it aint broke don't fix if,

if they say they was a bit dirty apologize explain move on

but majority wont spot at all,  if they are clean, from being done previous then not going to be dirty frames etc, just some soap, and i havnt noticed that to  be a problem,

who cares if they don't like it, though bananas,

I am still swaying the attitude Alex has, I can see the point of a letter, but i can also see the negatibe points to it that many on here may well never think of.

Each to their own i suppose but i think you're better off not explaining anything unless asked. I had several sceptical customers out of which i lost 4 and passed another 3 over. They were fine until they saw it in action.
The windows aren't dry.
The sills haven't been cleaned (when they meant wet).
I've left them smeared.
The solution will damage my flowers. ??
There's water EVERYWHERE.
It's going to leave water marks on the windows.
I'm only using the system because it's quicker.
They didn't like the windows being cleaned this way instead of trad. (Fair play for being honest).
Your brush has worn a hole in my conservatory roof and it's leaked in the rain we've had recently. I thought this was a potential claim. But no. She got embarassed when i laughed. Since dumped.

A couple had legitimate complaints i'm sure, but they didn't want me to come back to check and possibly reclean affected areas.
When i take on new work now i tell them i don't dry the windows as they will dry mark free. I avoid the term 'de-ionized' and call it soft or distilled water.
I don't take the cash and leave on 1st cleans, telling them i will come back later for the cash after i have checked the results. Or if they're not home to send me a cheque.
I also tell them for now and future reference that if they are less than 100% happy with any clean to call me and let me know. I tell them it will help me to refine my skill if they can do this.
Once a window comes up clean the 1st time it will come up good all the time, so i don't need to go back on subsequent cleans if they are good 1st time.
Maybe i exude a confidence which i didn't when i started wfp, but i have had only 1 cancellation after 4-6 weeks since i started wfp. Though i still get new customers who are sceptical about the system.

Guarantee your work, let them see the results of dried windows before getting paid and customers will be pleasantly suprised.
All they want are cleaned windows at the end of the day. Too much information gives too much room for confusion in my opinion.
