Hi Guys

had some problems with my computer and lost loads of stuff about a month ago, so i was updating some data on friends for the ncca site. one who is a member and has told me he has had work from the site was not listed.

They must have a bug on it so if you are a member check your details and let them know

Thanks Ian, I'll forward your message to the office.

As with any organisation, small problems like this can happen and, like others, we rely to a degree on members to keep us upto date on their own entries. It's the same with Yellow Pages, Thomson etc. As soon as it lands on the doormat, I check my entry. We also have situations whereby some members have not presented all the information required, especially this year with the new requirement for the "One to One" rule.  Until all of this has been completed, entries will not be made on the public database.

I hope that you wont read this as an excuse, but a reminder to all NCCA Members. One of our office staff has had some very serious health issues this year, so for the last seven months there have been one or two "trying times" in the office. Factor in holidays and the occasional sickie and I hope you will appreciate that  Katie and Lewis have handled the situation amazingly.  They are a credit to the Association.

Safe and happy cleaning :)

No problems, as you say by the look of things many details need updating, like lots don't have a web link or address. I'll say that's got to be one to the NCCA as many complain about referrals.

People need to understand how link exchange works. the logo that members put on their sites has much more value to them than the fact that it represents membership.

each one has a link back to the ncca site. the ncca site has about 1,500 links to it.

so its value to its members is high, if the details are correct. an incorrect email address or web link could cost them lost business. it must be the responsibility of the member to inform the ncca when these details change as they are not mind readers :)

its little details that make all the difference between something working and not.
