As this poll is totally anonimous, there is no point lying so lets all vote and see what  the average price really is.

Yes, that'll do ;)

I see no ones going for the £60-£80 option

There are 14 who said higher than £180 but have not put in a bid in the £180 plus poll.

Does this mean that many of you exagirate.

It cannot mean that you have not got the time to vote as Higher Prices means more time at home to stir thing up.

Another interesting poll would be, on average how may suites do you (single person not employees) clean in a week........this might mean that some of you really high priced lads do a couple & the middle bracket do more......just a thought (if everyone remains honest) :-/ :-X

This is what I do not understand, the higher price ethos comes from US, yet you charge the same as us in dollars.

Is cost of living cheaper in the states?

What is the Min wage in US

I make it 120 dollars = £67.52. if hes charging 120 dollars. Or if hes charging 120 gbp it is 213.26 dollars. :-/ ???

Does that help

i would charge 120 to 140 in dollers
if/when i move over the pond it would be 120 to 140 pounds
gas /petrol is chaper here and cigs, but if your living on the doller you cant sit back and say thats x amount of pounds and vice versa houseing aint cheap, tm aint cheap good chems the same....when your living on the doller or the pound you still have to make a wage
it is up to you to say how much you want to make and figure out how to make it.....most people here price per sq ft not  sq yd stairs are extra and to be honest 18 to 28 cents would be a good avg
some say they get more and maybe they do and others arent getting 15 cents a sq ft...like most services it,s how you sell your self that deems what you make of a job....a big plus is knowing what your doing....and then there,s people like me who are soft as  s ... and give to many breaks to people who put on the poor mouth
my biggest down fall is under charging people when i know i can make a lot more.....guess i never be rich...

It's not always appropriate to compare the prices charged in one country with another. The whole social structure, taxation system, average earnings, size of property, cost of land etc. etc. etc. all vary enormously. A good example are the villas for sale in Florida. You can buy a nice large, by UK standards, fully furnished home for less than half the price of a poky little 2 up 2 down terraced in London. The monetary differential can then continue through the rest of the economy.

As for the poll, I was one of the "Over £180 brigade" and I have completed the next stage too.

Safe and happy cleaning:)
Ken

PS
I get a bit bored if I do more than about 2 suites a week. This week I've 3, next week 3 and some single chairs too.
