Re: Facelift Phoenix poles

The lads have used the poles for 2 weeks, they will be swapping for the next fortnight.

Soupy, how are they finding the rigidity in both the poles? Are they comparable? Is one faster than the other to use? Love to hear your thoughts.

Each lad has only used one pole so far. All they can compare to so far is their old poles (brodex). Both poles are obviously quicker and lighter than the H26s

I  find you need to tighten the new clamps a lot tighter in comparison to the old clamps and let the spring do the tensioning on the  clamp. The old clamps we used to tighten the screw so it would just bite the pole to prevent spinning and due to the spring loaded clamps you need to tighten more than the old one to allow the spring do its job, then when loose the leaver will stay more controlled.
