Ok. So do you get £1500 a year as a kind of thank you from the Govt for doing it to help with costs ? Do you have to pay ALL his hourly rate or do the Govt contribute in any way ?Any details would be appreciated from someone who is doing it. They will have an assessor who will visit them on a regular basis to oversee the course work, they will attend courses from time to time. As far as I am aware it will last for around 2 years. At the end of that time the apprentice will have a recognised qualification .Wages and rates can be found on the hmrc web site. We pay our young lad 2.65 per hour he is 17 years old. In his second year his wage will rise to 4.98 per hour. Hope this helps.
A week to train....I wish....... what type of staff you got working for you, Staff need proper training. I can assure you it takes longer than a week to train quyualty staff to do the job properly. No learn WTp and trad in a week and be proficent.
