Wanted Agitation machine - floormac or similar
« on: November 14, 2012, 11:47:02 pm »
If anyone has one for sale I am after a sebo BS36 or BS46.

I am also in need of an agitation machine. Looking at either sebo duo or floormac or orbiter.

If you can help then let me know :-)

Thanks

Cheapest new one I found was from vicol supplies or for descent 2nd hand ones try a3 machines

Hi Simon

Thanks for the reply. £155 sounds very good for a new one. I have taken your advice and brought a bs36 via eBay (second hand).

So now all I need is an agitation machine. After reading lots of posts the floormac looks ideal and they seem to be very good value when they are second hand. Unfortunately no one seems to be selling one......

Anyone? Please?

If its the first machine your buying for agitation I wouldn't go for the Sebo duo, you'll only want to upgrade after a month or so. If budget isn't an issue go for the floormac, great little machine, then you can bonnet as well. If budget really isn't an issue get a victor or CRB!

Hi Neil

Thanks for your post. I will take that on board and steer clear of a sebo duo.

Budget is an issue but im quite happy going second hand to get everything to start. Once we are fully up and running I can always look to replace with new equipment.

So looks like it needs to be a floormac but still doesnt look like they come up for sale very often. Which model victor machine is good for agitation?

I'm not saying the duo is a total piece of rubbish, I just think if you can afford the floormac get that because it's a multi use machine as well. I have a duo and it maybe comes out every few months for something like a rug etc.
Keep checking eBay for floormacs, they do come up rarely, i found two ex demos about 5 month ago in perfect condition and they only wanted £105 including delivery, couldn't believe it. Wish I had bought both now, and it came with drive pad and brush.
Regarding the victor, there is a recent thread with lots of info on. I have the 15", but find it too big for domestics, but others say its fine, I now have a 11" one purchased this week, seems perfect for domestic. There a loads of victors on eBay, just keep an eye open. I use the 15" for commercial as it cuts down on time. Plus they are work horses, I've heard people say they have had the same one for over 20 years.
