I thought the same as well, at first - but then he doesn't seem to go over it with a dry stroke at all, just leaves the water sitting there (although I watched on my phone so I may be wrong).

It's clearly soaking in though.

before I started prespraying and aggitating, on filthy pub carpets I would lift the wand from the floor and jet the area prior to cleaning to allow the tank chems and heat to do some of the work. On black top the carpet will not absorb the moisture. Have only watched first few seconds but as Simon says spraying filthy carpet like that is just like spraying a hard floor. The end result is the important thing. Would also like owen r 's ability to identify fibres from a substandard video as after 20 odd years in the flooring business, buying fitting, specifying and cleaning carpets, I still cannot identify wool from polypropylene on film.

If you play 'Simon Says' 50% of the time, a lot on here can learn quite a bit.
The other 50% ?? - well whatever
