yes ive got 2 aquadaptors.just order a few extra springs because they do snap after a while.easy to change though.they add a noticable weight to the end of the pole but you soon get used to it.the ease of use and water saving is great.i wouldnt be without mine.

i have the mark 2s.the mark 3s are even lighter and havent got the clamp which fits on the end of the pole which makes it better as i have had issues with screw threads adaptors breaking on the mark 2s.

all in all a good product!

i have had mine about two weeks and the one thing that is playing up on me is the trigger below the wheel, keeps sticking in the down position, otherwise you get use to the added weight.its not much really and it does save water

tap for me £8 does the same job saves water. £49 for a/d seems overpriced & always something going wrong with them ( what ive read on here) each to there own. i would try one but not at that price.

Hi sfwc,

We offer inline taps too!  It's true that they "do the same job", just not as well ;), but I would say that wouldn't I!

Similarly, all water fed poles "do the same job", you can still clean windows with a cheap, heavy, bendy pole, but when offering advice or opinion, most will say that spending the extra on a light rigid pole is a worthwhile investment.

There are thousands of Aqua-dapters being used now, of course there are occasional issues, but it seems that these get mentioned (or remembered) more on here than is proportionate in terms of the repairs we've done.  I guess it makes sense that more people post when there's a problem than when something just works.

We give a long warranty and try very hard to make sure that our customers are happy with the product and service.  We get a lot of repeat custom, so hopefully that means we're doing something right!

There's a Satisfaction Guarantee, so you can try it for 4 weeks and if you don't think it's worth the money, send it back for a refund.

OK - I have a tap which clips to my belt. Why is the aquadapter a significant improvement? Serious question.

Hey!  ;D

It's a quicker way to work I tell ya, pinching hose is quicker and easier - cheaper too - less can go wrong with it, less weight on the end of yer pole, shorter pole length - did I say it was quicker too?

And where space is really tight, you can just remove your brush head, dead easy, and use it by hand.

Did I say it was a quicker way to work too?

Aqua daptors are for people who can't use their equipment properly.

And it's a quicker way to work; cheaper too; less can go wrong also.

Did I say it was quicker?

I used the aqua for 18 months it's great turning the flow on and off but I just hated the added weight it causes.. Not for me anymore unless they bring out a weightless version..

Hi Gold,

OK - I have a tap which clips to my belt. Why is the aquadapter a significant improvement? Serious question.

A lot of our customers have switched from an inline tap or pinching the hose to an Aqua-dapter.  They say that they save more water (obviously this means you can fit in more jobs, filter less water, reduce refill journeys etc.)

You might be happy with it attached to you, but some find it restrictive and don't like the loop of hose.  If it were to leak you could have the problem of a wet leg.

Although Tosh obviously disagrees, most say that it's quicker too.  I *think* Tosh uses our hose though :o

With the Mk3 you can remove the Aqua-dapter and brush just as easily as with a brush for use in tight spaces.  Tosh has his hose on the outside if I remember correctly, which of course would make using the brush by hand easier in this specific circumstance.

If Avo has been using it for over 18 months, it must have been a Mk2, the Mk3 is already lighter, 185g, which is just a little more than an iPhone with case (165g).  We'lre working on reducing weight, as long as we can keep the reliability as good as it has been so far, and of course improve it.

Similar to the personal preference over different types of hose, there will always be those who prefer different methods.  Aqua-dapter was invented to make controlling the water easier, and make the working day more profitable.

The results of our latest survey, and reasons why customers would recommend to others are included on our blog.

Yeah had the mk2 version I'm not knocking the aqua I think there very good but nice having a lighter pole tip again.. It's all about compromise really.. Little extra weight on your pole for no silly loops in hoses :)
