I too am touched that project X didn't work. I thought it was a great idea,host a website, pay for a radio advert then sit back and wait for the kerrrching when the customers flocked in and you could sell the work to window cleaners who where not smart enough to market themselves or their business.
Its sad you couldn't make money from selling work Lee, there's lots of canvassing companies out there trying to do the same. As the lads here say though, better to have tried eh?
I'd love to see the business plan.....
- amount of households, radio coverage of [x%], [x%] perecentage of take up, 200% minimum mark up (of business generated ) on the cleaner, makes you wonder where it all went wrong !!!
One thing i have learned though, don;t pay to advertise on the radio !!! Wonder how the Scottish guy is getting on with his groundbreaking business plan? Gordons windows or summat?
