A quick tip,if you have the flexi clamp use a damp micro cloth/scrim then use a dry micro cloth/ scrim to finish .
Never had a problem ,do all my leaded windows this way ,use my pole and trad most days

i struggle with that too ... unless im wrong and im only a newbie .... i see no difference but prefer microfibre as my scrim dont seen to be very absorbent and ive washed it too

 Scrims need a lot of washing and use to `break` them in, then they become more workable. Some boil them first.
  Micros don`t need this and are more absorbent. As a result, they get wetter quicker and you need to change to a dry one. You`d probably get through more micros than scrim.
  Scrim is a good all rounder though and I would always have some at hand.

i personally dont think you can do a good enough job with scrim/microfibre on a pole on leaded!i tryed once and got a complaint!either get up close on the ladder or wfp it!
